Pennants Action at the Hornets Nest
Saturday means Pennants bowls down at the Hornets Nest at Hamilton North Bowling Club. This weekend, the Hornets took on Cardiff in what promised to be an exciting day of competitive bowls. The atmosphere was electric as players and supporters gathered to cheer on their teams.
Sox was clearly in form, judging by that massive smile on his face. There’s nothing quite like the confidence of a player who’s found their rhythm on the green. When you’re playing well, it shows, and Sox’s enthusiasm was infectious throughout the day.
Team Spirit on Display
Seany was spotted getting some valuable advice from Col during the match. We can only imagine what wisdom was being shared – perhaps tips on reading the green, shot selection, or tactical play. That’s what makes Pennants special: the camaraderie and mentorship between experienced players and those still honing their skills.
Sandy found himself a nice cool spot to keep an eye on proceedings. Smart thinking on a Saturday afternoon, ensuring she could watch all the action while staying comfortable. Meanwhile, Brendo tried his best to hide from the camera, but as we all know, it’s what the fans want to see. Sorry not sorry, Brendo!
Go Hornets
The spirit and energy at Hamilton North Bowling Club on Pennants day is something special. From the competitive play on the green to the support from the sidelines, it’s what community bowls is all about. Go go go Hornets!
