6th Grade Pennants Kick Off
The first Sunday of Pennants brought excitement and drama to Hamilton North Bowls as our 6th grade team took to the greens. While the day didn’t end with the result they were hoping for, the team showed true fighting spirit with a massive comeback on Rink 7 that had everyone on the edge of their seats.
Despite their best efforts, the team didn’t get the chocolates this time around. But that’s the beauty of pennants – every week brings new opportunities and challenges. The season is just getting started, and there’s plenty of bowls to be played.
After the match, the team gathered to debrief over a couple of well-earned schooners, talking about what could have been. It’s these moments of camaraderie and good-natured reflection that make pennants such a special part of our club culture. Win or lose, the friendships and shared experiences are what keep our members coming back week after week.
Good luck to our 6th grade team for the rest of the season. We’re behind you all the way!
